Shia started singing and acting at an early age and discovered hoop dance as a young adult. Her birth name, Suschia, received by her mother in a dream, is the phonetic version of Surya, which is Sanskrit meaning Sun.

Hoop Dance is a relatively new art form, combining object manipulation and dance. It was influenced by native american hoop dance, rhythmic gymnastics, circus and urban dance culture. 

Today Shia is performing on stages and streets internationally. Latest performance at the Magdalena Circus Festival in Castellón de la Plana, Spain.

She also appeared in music videos or commercials, e.g. for Volvic and JDC Fashion Milano and worked as a fitness model for Myofx. 

She is touring around Europe during summertime and is available for engagements worldwide.

In 2015 she accomplished a comprehensive yoga teacher training for Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga and discovered her passion for teaching. She gives Yoga and Hoop Dance classes.
